Oh I had forgotten the prequal page! I'll go check. I just opened a new business but hopefully, that won't be a problem.
I don't really care which card I get as long as I can charge on it. I'm not opposed to a charge card.
Any suggestions on what I'm most likely to get approved for?
I emailed the attorneys for the class action and asked for help with this. No reply yet.
But hopefully, that might intersect with the time frame my ex wants me off the cards. I think I've got until around the New Year.
This has given me a lot of hope! Thank you. You are right about the AU having history attached to it. Hopefully it works in my favor. I had forgotten about the pre-qual page. I am going to check!
Thanks!
Ugh. I've tried disputing them. No dice.
I do have an email out the class action attorneys. Hopefully, they can help move this along. I'm not seeing anything in the court docs about relief regarding credit. I hope that's not a whole separate issue.
What a mess.
Thanks for talking it out with me.
Income is really good. Hopefully, that helps.
Thanks for giving me hope!
If there are any prequals, charge card appropriate for your spend is probably better than revolver because it will be in a toy limit hell for a while.

Darn it, that would have been the simplest method. Hopefully the Attorney's will have an alternate method to get this done. Don't think it fair for a company to be able to penalize you in this manner while a lawsuit is ongoing.
Would also ask if you can incorporate addiional damages into your claim as your business is being negatively impacted by WF's refusal to delete the [retaliatory] charge off from yor file in a timely manner.
I went through a Class Action with Chase. Long process but luckily my mortgage was already refi 'd to another bank so they had no way to retaliate against me.

Which card are you talking about and have you tried prequal page?
While your scores are still on the lower end for their revolvers (tho, stranger things have happened), charge cards may not be impossible
I don't know why this belief keeps being repeated here. I have not found it to be particularly true. For the longest time, I was pre-approved for all Amex revolvers but not the charge cards. So, to me, the charge cards were never easier to get. I believe Amex uses the whole profile and not just scores to determine what gets approved. In fact, one of the "entry" cards for Amex is the Gold Delta Skymiles, a revolver.
