Is this a denial? NFCU

I applied for a Platinum Card from Navy Federal last night based on the reviews that I have read here. I have had a business account with them for the past 6 months which I have consistently deposited at least $16k/month since opening the account. (However, I applied for the credit card via my personal account.) I received an alert from Capital One CreditWise that my TU profile was pulled last night, which is my best score (709 with no baddies). I just can't imagine that I got denied considering people have posted about their approvals with lower scores and lower income. Maybe I jumped the gun, but I sent them a secure message this morning inquiring about why I was denied, their response is below.

This is the intial message that I recieved this morning, which I assume is a denial:

Navy Federal Response 09/25/2017 : Thank you for your interest in a Navy Federal credit card account. Our records indicate that a credit card application has been submitted, and is currently under review. The Credit Card Lending Team will notify you in writing of its decision within approximately 5-7 business days. If we can be of any further assistance, please let us know. Have a great day!

This is their response after my inquiry:

Navy Federal Response 09/25/2017 :

Thank you for taking the time to bring your concern(s) to our attention and allowing us the opportunity to respond. Your application is currently pending review by The Credit Card Lending Team. All applications are reviewed in the order they are received. Decisions are usually made within 24-48 hours from the time the application was submitted. If your application is approved, you will receive the new card within 5-7 business days. However, if your application is disapproved, please allow 7-10 business days to receive information regarding the Credit Card Lending Team's decision. If we can be of any further assistance, please let us know.

Has anyone received this 5-7 day message? It looks like most people get a 3-5 day message for denials.
