My ED is at 183 days since my last CLI, so I hit the button this afternoon. It's at $14,700 and I asked for $15K, a $300 increase. Got the 7-10 day we'll send you a message letter. Bummer.
Nah you're not at max. You just hit the button too early.
I've hit the button like that and received the same answer. Went back and hit it a day later.. Walla! Received a 6k increase. Why only $300 Captool?
Why not let them counter offer?

I'm at 183 days, so it isn't too early. I don't want them to counter offer because they'd probably stick me with another annoying oddball amount. They've already done it twice at $9600 and $14,700.
If you were at max. You'd receive a request for income verification.

And I thought I was OCD.

I'm like that as well. My QS MasterCard (that I keep around since it's my oldest major credit card) has a CL of $3900.
It was previously $2920, but when I got the last CLI I manually lowered the amount by $20 to make the new CL at least even.
Since the card is only kept around for the history anyway, I would almost (but not quite) be willing to lower the CL to $3k, but I just leave it alone. I haven't used the card enough for a CLI, but I still hit the button every so often with the hope that they will offer me a CLI of $100, which I would accept just to make it an even $4k.
I guess that makes me OCD as well.
You guys are a bit odd with the OCD of wanting nice round CLs. I mean I get it, I'd prefer a nice round number as well but not to the point that I'd request exact CLIs or CLDs to obtain them. To each their own
CAPTOOL, what has your spend/payment pattern per cycle looked like for the last 6 cycles since your last CLI? The only other things I can really think of is if your income is too low, your overall exposure is too high or if your utilization is really high. Outside of those factors I don't see how much else could be holding you back at $14.7.
Oddball limits like that make me cringe. Just realized it now that my $2300 makes me shudder. My OCD is kicking in. Why can't I get a nice limit rounded to the nearest $500?
I'm right there with the OCD group! My mind goes bonkers with odd numbers and likes round, even numbers! Glad to know I'm in with good company My DH will often not round up at the gas pump just to watch me squirm...Ahh, the joys of marriage and knowing what pushes each other's buttons..LOL
