@bigseegar wrote:Nope just checked and it's not showing on any of my AX credit cards. But in all fairness I just got a CLI a month or two ago on one of them so that may have something to do with it idk.
Did you try using a different device? Like if you used a laptop, try the phone app or vice versa. Some are reporting they're seeing it one way but not the other.
Thanks for the info. I was just approved for a $10k Delta Gold on 5/18... is it 91 days from that date you go for a CLI?
This worked for me when the topic was opened, but now neither this nor the workaround that was described a couple of weeks ago is working lol

Same here! At least on a computer. I haven't tried the app yet.
Oh well....easy come, easy go!
Ive ready many posts on this in the last day or so. Here's what I've summoned:
:91 days/ 3 statements if you're a new Amex card holder and/ or your SL was less than $3k
:61 days if you are an established cardholder and if your SL on that card was over $5k ish but better chance at 91 days ( although quite a few people recently reported success at 61)
: one post indicated CLI to over $35k can sometimes trigger a POI but I haven't gotten a definitive in that yet.
Hope that helps!

Thanks for the info! I'm gonna definitely wait the 91 days / 3 statements before I go for a CLI. Not even gonna try at 61 days. I was an Amex cardholder before and closed the account in 2017... just the $1k limit though and I never got a CLI because I didn't use the card much. Amex has since buffed the miles perk for the cards (2x at restaurants/grocery) and I got a 75k bonus miles after $2k spend (which I've already met) and a $100 flight credit after a $10k spend by Dec 31 which I also plan to meet.
Running everything thru this card for 2022... so needless to say I feel like I have better chances of a CLI this time around. Quite honestly though with a $10k limit the desire for a CLI isn't as great as it was when I had a $1k limit on my previous card. Still... I'll probably go for something like a bump to $15k.
Wasn't there for me when this thread was started, and still wasn't there as of yesterday when I was ready to request a CLI on my new(ish) BCP. Had to use the direct link (which *did* work, btw).

I have 4 Amex credit cards. When I go to the website the "Credit Limit Increase" box is there for 3 of the 4 cards. The card that doesn't have it did have it the other day.
I wonder if Amex is now using it the way some other banks do, with the link appearing only when approval for a credit limit increase is likely.
It looks like we're getting very different results. The last time I checked (yesterday), the CLI button did not appear and the original workaround did not work; I did not try the direct link. But the second workaround did work.
To clarify--these have all been posted in different threads--when I say 'the original workaround,' I'm talking about going to Account Services, selecting Check Spending Power, going right back to Account Services (without entering anything), and the CLI button appears. By 'second workaround' I mean go to Account Services, then choose Payment and Credit Options, then Servicemembers Civil Relief Act Benefits, and you'll see a CLI button. All credit for those workarounds goes to their OPs, not me. The direct link is https://global.americanexpress.com/lending/line-increase/request
My testing has all been done on a laptop; anyone seeing different results on a mobile device?
