I took 3 Hps today ( 2 EQ 1TU EX: unknown).
I was thinking of adding an Amex ED card in for the AAOA pading since I have a 2014 MSD. Soft pull on decline, etc.
Barclay just gave me a $10k limit on my SallieMae a few hours ago.
How likly is it that they drop the hammer with ONE more APP?
I kinda want to do this now to get near maximum return on the back date as adding 3 cards to a short AAOA is going to be a huge score drop. Lost 6 points due to INQS alone.
I just got done with a spree adding 10 cards and around $160K in limits and so far nobody has blinked, including Barclay, as far as any actions. Although the last card's interest rate wasn't the lowest available. Actually it's about 8% higher, once the 0% goes away it's into the sock drawer with it.
Stuff is still trickling in so I'm only down about 15 points or so. In a couple of months I'll start combining CLs where I can and winnow the number of cards down a bit.
I have added 9 revolving credit lines since June 2014 when I opened my Barclays I received a Auto CLI in December I always PIF.
Seems like the consensus is that Barclay only gets spooked if you start running up balances while opening new cards. Seems reasonable. Whether or not I have the courage to app amex ED is another issue.
Started reading that it's not always a SP on denial as a member.
any updates?

No one on this board would know for sure, but the safest bet is to not app for to much credit to quickly

Yes,
I'm too chicken to app for a 4th card.
Amex ED moved to January 2016.
I've asked around and it seems its time to chill out. Made out like a bandit already.
I don't even like the card. 20 swypes? Are they mad? Do some people literally need to buy something almost everyday?

I think that's wise.

Good decision. You have a great collection thus far.
