What was your staring QS cl and what did they increase it to at the 2 month mark?
Haha!!! I do it too! I don't think it will make you look money hungry unless your credit was reflecting that at the time they did an HP. I've been with them for over 10 yrs now. They increased my QS up 1k after having it for 2 mos. The increased my Platinum up 3k after 2 mos. July 1st is my 2 month anniversary for Venture & you know I'm going to hit that button! Yes, I'm still trying to put my eyes back in my head after reading about that 50k & 20k back to back limits! Good luck with that button. Might app for another QS or Venture down the road.
I hit the button every 30-90 days. Sometimes it works. Most times I get a 2-3 day notice then an "your account is not elligeble"

I push it at leat 3 times a month lol just to see lol but today received a different message instead of the2-3 day message I got a credit specialist will review your request and will notify within 10 days.
As anyone ever received this message
LOL. Doing it that often probably flagged you. They probably think you are desperate for more credit
Exactly!
You're walking on eggshells and playing with fire when you make excessive CLI requests. Pressing that luv button will flag their internal controls putting you in a high risk category. Don't chance the day you get up finding out your credit line is now ZERO.

Capital One? Closing an account for requesting more credit?
Ha....ha....hahahahahah....ha.ha.

Hmm never seen that before, but I use to hit the luv button every day just cause i could.. Even after I called the EO and it was in manual review for my CLI I hit it daily ... I got my CLI through manual review for double the amount it was at.. I highly doubt hitting the luv button daily does anything as I have at least 40 rejection letter in a few month period of time.

balboa - do you have any supporting evidence that requesting an online CLI repeatedly "WILL" flag their internal controls? Quit making stuff up!
Nixon - I found it just as comical

I've been on these forums for quite some time, Ive never seen anyone have any adverse action for requesting CLI's from capital one. ever.

Agree. And the great "Oracle of Delphi" has spoken so we know it's confirmed
