Can anyone recommend how to get a CLI on Capital One's Quicksilver card? I've had this card since 07/2015 with a $10k limit, last request for CLI 11/2018 came with a denial letter, monthly credit use too low. I do rack up maybe $2000 in purchases each month, but pay it off as well. Any tricks to this?

My daughter has this same card and has a $8500 limit. Same senario with her. She asked for an increase and was declined. She then called their recon number and explained that she would like to transfer balance to that card, but wanted to keep her balance under 30% of limit. The CSR was very nice and after a few minutes on hold, came back and gave her a $5000 increase. I think the key is following up with a live representative. Good Luck
Can you put more on your card each month?
Gotta look at it from their side.
If you spend $2k and have $10k, why give more?
It CAN grow but a lot is based on usage.
GL!

If you're putting $24k through QS you need to find yourself a 2% card, you're leaving $120 on the table per year.
That's the problem with CapOne CLIs, they want you to put more spending on it but most of their cards come with average rewards compared to their competitors. I have a 11k Savor, I'm not going to put $4k on it per month eating out lol, so there it sits since June 2017 with 8 straight denials, welcome to the Not Enough Usage Club.

Combination of Discover IT (5% grocery), Chase Freedom (5% grocery/5% Costco), Penfed PCR/Costco Visa (2% Costco) and Amex BCE (3% grocery/Walmart grocery pickup), depending on where I shop and the quarter of the year. For example, most grocery spending was at Costco this current quarter due to Freedom's 5%, some of that will shift back to Stop and Shop next quarter with Discover's 5%.
