Nobody can tell you without more info. Feel free to make a thread in the applications subforum asking that. Make sure to include your details like cards, limits, utilization, etc..

Re: Capital One Quicksilver / Kohl's Approved !!!! The 2019 App Spree is over

Good idea I will do that. I have two open accounts on TU and EQ equalling 500 dollar total limits at 1 percent utilization. On EX I have 3 open accounts showing with $3500 in total credit at one percent utilization. The third account on EX I am an AU and for some reason the account is not showing up on TU or EQ, it is a Chase card. My other two cards are capital one at 300 and opensky at 200. I have no inquiries or new accounts in the last three months and only a couple for each CRA in the the last 12 mo.

Go to Kohl's website and they have a prequalification....it will tell you wether or not you qualify for a card. I had tried for 5 years to get a Kohl's card and finally just a few months ago I was prequalified and got one!

Re: Kohl's Approval Odds

Kohls is pretty use to get approved for.
On the other hand if you can’t pay cash for the clothes maybe it is better to pick up some gigs, overtime and pay for it with cash. I am not judging but saying it from my experience.
I started following simple rule: If I can’t pay for it with cash then I don’t buy it.

Re: Kohl's Approval Odds

Having the cash to buy doesn’t mean the card isn’t worth using though. Kohl’s is one of the retailers whose cardholders can really make out well with stacked discounts and special sales and the like. Use the card and use the cash to pay off the card afterward for the best of all worlds. With 3 kids, this is the last retail card I’d ever get rid of - I’ve saved huge amounts using it over the past year.
