LOWES APPLICATION VERIFICATION

Hello Everyone!

Today I applied for a lowes card and I just closed on a house but I have a strong credit score and good income 773 FICO.  I used my new adress which I belive triggered the verification process.  It asked me to upload a 5 second video of myself and front and back of ID on there verify.syf.com website.  I completed the tasks except for my phone couldnt capture a clear enough image of the barcode on the back of my ID according to synchrony (iPhone 13 MAX Pro) and after 5 attempts of getting a clear image it booted me and gave me the 7-10 day message.  I called and they said the application states 7-10 days....

Do you think this is a decline or a request for futher verification?  I have 1 other synchrony card with $0 balance with good payment history.  I am confused.

Any input or guidance?

Apply in store and go for the Amex version way better benefits I work at Lowes and do these apps daily!!!

I suggest you not do that until the application process for the Synchrony-issued store card plays out in its entirety.

A 7-10 day message is also consistent with an incoming verification request outlining steps to take, in this particular circumstance the message shouldn't be interpreted as a de facto denial.

this happened to me with the lowes commercial card I have. 7-10. each time with synchrony i have to call in.ended up getting 3000CL starting.

I hope you got approved eventually, as it's been a long time since you posted this.

I have just gone through the same thing with Synchrony and Verizon VISA.  Phone could not capture clear enough image of the barcode on the back of my driver license and booted me out after 5 attempts.  Calling their Fraud Department back, I was told I would have to wait for a letter in the mail in 7-10 days.

It's been too much hassle since I initially tried applying in the 1st week of February.  I am not that desperate for this card, so I hope it is just a rejection.  Since I see no HP pulled on any of my major 3 CRs, I would just prefer things to stay this way.  I am DONE with Synchrony and any of the products they are offering.
