I've dealt with a few CUs, and in every case their customer service was typically frustrating to deal with and/or just plain terribad. CUs may give great rates and limits compared to big banks, particularly for people with less than great credit, but in my overwhelming experience, their lower-ranking employees and tech infrastructures are laughably amateurish.
