I haven't been able to find too much approval data for their card between here and the pulls database.
Would anyone mind sharing their data for when they were approved?
Also, has anyone ever got an instant approval from them? I've read some of the stories here about really lengthy approvals.
Last question...I saw someone mention it is best used for service rewards. Can anyone expand on that? I can't seem to give up the old boy (2004) so service is an unfortunate part of my life!
I know there are some on here like b335 that was recently approved for bmv visa. the card is through bmv financial, the are very slow at processing apps, from what I have read they can pull EX usually and may require you mail to mail them type of verification documents. the whole process can take 3+ weeks. they also dont give large limits from what i have seen. very strong scores getting $2500-$5000 limits.
Very long approval process, not usually and instant approval, mine took well over a month to get approved, since I had to fax forms and such. I think I was in the 600's on EX with a BK reporting and I received a $1k limit. It is now upgraded to a Visa Signature and it's been increased to $10k. Good luck!

A friend of mine recently purchased a used BMW and I told him to get the BMW credit card. He applied during the financing of the vehicle and was approved for $25k limit and received the card about a week later. I was shocked because I have heard it can take a while and get a low limit. So they may want you to get it with a vehicle rather than a stand alone credit card. His scores are all about 750, not sure which bureau they pulled.

That is certainly the biggest CL I have ever heard of BMW financial giving on this card. Interesting DP
Thank you all for providing your data. Maybe I'll ask some questions this week since I have to go in for service. I just hate how vague the card benefits listed are. I'm the type that likes very specific information.
I think I might be OK for a low limit with them and I truly wouldn't need much. It would just be great to earn credit towards regular maintenance.
I applied for the BMW card online about 3 months ago. They pulled from Experian. It took about three weeks to get an approval and I had to send in UT bill and copy of DL. There are 3 levels of cards. I have the basic card with a $15,000 SL. They also have the Signature and the Ultimate. I think you have to be invited to get the Ultimate. My score was in the 760 range. I am told they are somewhat difficult to get approvals for the CC's. It's easier to get BMW Auto Financing. It took me about 7 BMW purchases (paid in full) and over 40 years to get a CC approval. I guess if you stick with them and keep trying they eventually come around.
