My cards are as follows (I don't know how to put them in my signature):
$3k Barclays world MasterCard arrival plus
$3.5k Cap Quicksilver
$3.5k Cap Venture
$0.5k Cap Platinum
$3k Petal
$0.7k Sync PayPal Cash back
$8k Sync Care Credit
$3k Sync Staples
$2k Sync Amazon
$1k Target Red
$2k Credit One Visa
$1k Credit One MasterCard
$6k Loan
And maybe 1 or 2 other I'm forgetting. Notice the distinct lack of Chase and Amex which I would like to incorporate next, and would specifically love tips on increasing those odds.
The bank where all my paychecks go through is Schwab who don't have credit products. I got them for their free checking and free ATM usage worldwide. If switching to another bank would "look better" for any reason, I'm all ears.
And yes, I know I have the basics down, I'm looking for the advanced steps now
As for banking, my situation is similar, I bank with eTrade. DW just changed jobs and they don't offer direct deposit and we felt it was time to get a local account. Synovus gave her a $5k visa on the spot, I declined because I actually want in with Chase. But it does go to show local face-to-face relationships go far.
I would ditch the Credit ONe cards and start checking Discover and Amex prequal sites. Keep pounding those Synchrony luv buttons.

$3k Barclays world MasterCard arrival plus keep an eye on this one, they'll likely CLD or close it with the flurry of activity
$3.5k Cap Quicksilver use Cap1 or you'll never see a CLI on them
$3.5k Cap Venture
$0.5k Cap Platinum
$3k Petal new to the market... not much data but, they do cap out at 10K CL's
$0.7k Sync PayPal Cash back be careful w/ sync... if they get a whiff of something they'll CLD/shutdown your accounts for too much activity
$8k Sync Care Credit
$3k Sync Staples
$2k Sync Amazon
$1k Target Red
$2k Credit One Visa any fees? need to get rid of it.
$1k Credit One MasterCard any fees? need to get rid of it.
$6k Loan
And maybe 1 or 2 other I'm forgetting. Notice the distinct lack of Chase ( not going to happen any time soon due to 5/24) and Amex which I would like to incorporate next, and would specifically love tips on increasing those odds.

One more thing, in the short run, the closer you get to $100k, the further you will be from 800.

You can DD to the brokerage account fairly easy and then move funds from there to your Checking if need be. I use them as an ACH to move money around form tons of outside accounts to other accounts that don't offer ACH access.
Personally though... I don't "bank" where I have Credit...so,, I have a CU account that's paying 2.5% APY up to 50K balances.
I absolutely love doing business with eTrade. Next day ACH across the board, even with Robinhood.
