 I did notice one thing correct me if I'm wrong but nobody applied for the chase Slate and  turned around less than 30 days and applied for Chase Sapphire preferred and get approved right.

They will grow. Plus you can combine cards which is what I had to do to get my csp to 10k. I combined the freedom, southwest into the new csp. They would never increase the csp beyond 10k despite my best efforts. Now is paid off though. I will eventually combine the United and IHG into another card after I use the bonus for those cards. Likely combine them into the united.
