Lowe's Denial

Applied for the Lowe's card this past weekend. Finally got my denial letter with reference #. The reason for the denial was NUMBER OF CREDIT ACCOUNTS OPENED RECENTLY. 

The same day I was denied for Lowe's I was approved for 5 new card's.

Should I call for a recon or just hold off ?

Just my take on it. I would hold off. How many of those new accounts were with Synchrony? They can get fussy about a lot of new accounts. There are many threads in the forum about it. 

Just enjoy your new accounts and if you still want the one that was declined, try again in six months.

I agree with @Musiclover.  Give it at least six months before trying again.
