Lowe's applied and weird denial

Hello all!! I'm in the garden now but before I entered fully this time around I applied for a Lowe's card as we are moving back into our home after renting it our for a few years and sad to say got a lot of things to fix. However, was denied and the reason was "insufficient credit accounts. " Has anyone received that as a denial reason?

Granted I only have a NFCU, Quicksilver1 and a few store cards. I am in my rebuild and my TU score is 636 while EX 605. They pulled EX for me.

Do i need to wait 6 months or so and try again?

Thank you all!!

Re: Lowe's applied and weird denial

I think that's a way of saying your score is too low.

Re: Lowe's applied and weird denial

Sorry to hear but wait for your credit profile to improve a bit before you apply again.  So six month is a good time to try again.

Thank you was thinking the same thing. I'll just wait it out until the middle part of next year.
