Lowes Card Inquiry Sensitive?

I desperately need to purchase a washer & dryer, but I stupidly went on an app spree after closing on my condo. I must have like 10 inquiries on each CB...my scores took a bit of a hit as well. From almost 700 down to 645-650ish. What are my chances, and would it be better to app in store while making the purchase? I just hate to be denied in public if I can avoid it. The purchase will be around 1k...

Thank you for any advice.

Re: Lowes Card Inquiry Sensitive?

its a total crap shoot!! I had 80 inquires, and TU score was around 654 when I apped online and got instant approved for $300.

A lot of people have better luck apping in store..and you can always wait till there is none at the CS desk register, and asking them to be very descret and not blurt out if it was a denial.

But everyones overall profile if different, and because I was approved with my dirty profile, doesn't mean you will be, and visa versa.

Something else you could do is go in store and go back to the appliance area, and pick out what you need, and have them call it in to credit.

Approved for $500. I was hoping for 2k so I could purchase a washer & dryer, but I suppose I can wait a bit longer. Laundry mat...here I come! Smiley Sad

Call Credit Solutions now!  Tell them you need a washer/dryer (and maybe that you're remodeling your bathroom, lol) and ask for $25,000.  They will either approve it or counter.

Did you not get approved on some of the cards from app spree. I don't think they annouce so loud. Declined. lowes pretty easy to get in with. and just as easy to get a high limit. I think you will be fine. IMO
