Based on how long it is taking to process, it is likely a denial unfortunately so prepare yourself.

+1. They DO ACTUALLY perform the review and there is still a chance, but not likely.
Let us know what finally happens
I personally wouldn't have applied if I were you with those scores. Did you look at the credit pulls database first? If not, I'd suggest looking now while your app is pending to see what scores people were approved/denied with for Lowe's so you have a better idea of what you're dealing with.
I would say that 664 TU isn't that bad when it comes to Lowes. It really isn't that hard of a card to get. I picked up one while I was still in BK13 and my scores were a lot lower than 664 on TU. By the time by BK13 was discharged I had that bad boy up to $17K.
There may be another reason behind the denial, and score could be part of a bigger picture, but 664 for Lowes is a very acceptable score. Maybe not starting out with a high limit but certainly enough to get you in the door.
I just bought a can of spray paint on my Lowes card today. Gotta keep that $25k line active. Currently I live in an apartment and have no need to buy my own carpet, appliances, paint and so forth.
Looking for a short sell/fixer upper and then the projects will begin.
Looks like someone has a different story but I always assumed Lowes liked at least 720 FICO.
Greetings,
I am a current Lowe's employee and a former Head Cashier/Supervisor. Typically, if you're not approved on the spot, and you don't receive a phone call the following day, you've probably been denied. I've applied for this card back in July and again in September after receiving a pre-approval letter in the mail...and was still denied. I decided to wait a year or so since I had 5 new accounts this year. I was going through the system on December 4th and noticed that it gave me a pre-approval notification through our system (which 99% of the time gives you what you're pre-approved for.) I thought long and hard and decided to take a chance. Was approved for $5k even though my pre-approval amount was $10.3k.
Long story short, sometime this year, Lowe's gave the store power to request credit line increases from our computers, after verifying customer's information. After my $5k approval, I went and requested an increase for $10k and was approved. Then I requested $15k and was approved. I figured I would shoot for the stars and requested $25k. I was declined but they countered and I accepted $17k.
For those who have not received an increase on their Lowe's card, please visit a store and ask them to do a credit line increase on your account. Let me know if you have any luck!!

Update:
I've had the account for just over 5 months at 17k limit. Just requested an increase to $25k and was approved. Requested another increase to $50k but was declined. However, they countered at $35k!! Keep shooting for the stars and you may get lucky!! Havent submitted any papers for income verification. My scores are around the 750 range is that helps.
Lowe's CLIs can be done online or over the phone without having to visit a store.

Just curious what was your score when you were approved? Congratulations!
