Lowes Initial CLI Request Date

How soon can one request a Lowes CLI, and what is the best approach (phone, online)? I am asking for a friend since I am not familiar with their card account. They applied and was approved a couple of days ago, and have not received their card yet.

People get approved for CLIs on that card the same day they get approved. Have your friend call the number on the back of their card. Tell them to shoot for the moon.

Thanks Ficoproblems247! I will give them your info. One more question. How often can Lowes cardmembers request a CLI?

Cardmembers asking for an increase in the day of approval? How are they able to do that if they have not yet received their card in the mail, not knowing what there account number is yet?

I'm not sure what they use for their verification. Possibly a combo of name, phone number, SSN? I've never personally been through the process, I have just read many success stories of people immediately calling for recon on their Lowe's SL.

Typically every 4-6 months.  I wouldn't poke the bear too frequently given the environment with SYNCB these days.

Re: Lowes Initial CLI Request Date

I got the Lowe's card on 1/2/21 with $2,500 limit and tried several times over the last few months to get a CLI and always denied.  Last night (which was 3 months later) I requested $5,000 and instant approval.  So after reading I may have left some credit on the table, I requested the infamous $35,000 and was instantly approved!  Both of the requests were done online.
