I would check the TU Fico to see where you really sit, they are a TU puller. When I app'd I got $4k, I immediately got on the phone and asked for an increase. They asked how much I wanted and I said $35k. She puts me on hold for a minute and comes back approved. My TU at the time was at 780 and no baddies on my CR.

I know my TU is 633 and I don't need $35k lol. Only maybe $5k for Kitchen appliances. However I only have 3 inquiries on TU.

Welp took the bait, got 7-10 day message  pretty sure it's a denial. I'm convinced Synchrony hates me. No more apps unless they are  SPs or Cap1 prequal site

I don't need the $35k either but it's nice to have in case you do. I got the card so I could get the 5% off since I plan on doing some stuff around the house. So far I've ran about $1k though it lol

Normally if approved it would be instant with synchrony. Check the backdoor number page

 I feel your pain Shawn.  Granted, my first store card HHGregg was approved 17 months post discharge but 6 more approvals after that within a four year period.  Was even approved for a $5k CLI on my Lowes card   8/14 I joined Sams Club  and applied for the store card at the store. Denied.  The SC clerk said she had made a mistake and applied for the SCMC.  I tried again online on 11/14, denied again.  ??  BK was given for the reason both times.  Maybe a Robo denial?  I was also told by a forum member Synchrony does not do recons...... My first 7 approvals were all with GE.  Maybe not a coincidence.

Now I want to try with Ashley to take advantage of their no interest promotion. I'm like you, I can't help but take denial personally it's just my nature.  But their big labor day sale is fast approaching............... and another HP.

Best of luck with Synchrony.  It seems they are not so giving as GE was .

Applied at 3AM and got approved for $400, lol!!!!!!  Hit agent up on chat when they opened for Synchrony at 9AM and got instant approval for 12k. TU 714, EQ 696, EX 704. Going hit them up again in a week when Util and paydowns hit my report. Only took 2 point hit on TU score for HP.
