Lowes

Denied again perhaps, received the dreaded 7-10 day message.  Gave a reference number but that it.  TU 660.  tried calling 800 445 6937 but prompts say nothing about app status.  any ideas?

ok the updated number for lowes application status is 800 444 0430.  I called to check and they said my app is still being reviewed.  Anybody have this happen after getting the 7-10 day message?

Didn't get it with Lowe's, but have with other Synchrony Bank cards.  For me, it was to verify my identity.  This is the number for credit card support:  1 (800) 444-1408.  Don't know if it will help, but worth a try.  You only have a small window to call and find out.  When I got approved, they pulled EX on me.

ok because i just called and  the application status line says that its still processing, but I will try the number you listed.  Wouldnt the status line say declined by now, if it was actually declined?

The first time I applied, I got an instant denial.  The second time, it was automatically approved.  It was Sam's Club and Phillips 66 that I had to verify my identity because I was given a reference number.

Then call back the 800-444-0430 number and tell them that the message said that you needed to call in and provide them with the reference number.  If they say they can't have them switch you to a different department that can verify your identity.

When you say "instant denial" did it say something like "unfortunately we cant approve blah blah blah"?  My says "thank you for applying for the lowes credit card.  If you have provided us with your email address, you may receive a response by email within 4-5 days, If you have not, you will receive a response by mail within 7-10 days.  For your records, your reference number is..........

It said we cannot approve your application at this time.  the second message I got when I applied for Sam's Club and I called in and they sent me a code that I had to recite the numbers back and was approved.

ok i see, maybe I have a glimmer of hope, just maybe.  However, neither of these numbers allow me to get thru to a rep.  Guess I will just wait on the letter or email.  Thanks for your help, I really appreciate it.
