Macy's Amex i pulled the Trigger Update v1

So i went to check the mail today and i got a mail from Macys saying i was upgraded to the top tier of spending of Premier Elite. which gives me more discounts and such. when i went into the chat to comfirm this and the rep indeed told me i spent in less than a year $1.4k so i also asked her if the card color would change the rep said no she told me macys will keep them all red. so thats what made me pull the trigger and get the Amex co-branded version since it will look a bit better. So now the waiting game begins as it will take about 30 days for a decison. and last week i was given a CLI of 500 im hoping this change will be a SP too!

anyone got a response before 30 days?

Quick update v1

The more i keep reading about the Macys amex version the more i want it. since i do spend over 1k a year and it gives me the most most benefts using the macys card. because since i have it thats what i use when i shop there. yes other cards might give me better rewards but if i have it i use it lol. this 30 days are going to be long.

Re: Macy's Amex i pulled the Trigger

Usually if they approve it you will see your account say Macy's American Express when you log in pretty quickly but it takes nearly 30 days if you get denied to get the letter.

Question: if i get approved will that show as a brand new account from 2/15 or it will take my original open date from the regular Macys ?

@Anonymous,

CA is right.  It does take 30 days. Mine came with a big credit line after I was approved for the upgrade.  From $2.6k to $5k and  I was surprised at that.

you do know Macy's Amex is a 2nd credit line from store... you might still have $2.6k on store and $5k on the amex line.

@Anonymous,

@Anonymous know, I think you are right.  When I log in, I see 2 cards and it is a bit confusing and I just assume it was the same limit but increased.  Will ring and inquire.  @Anonymous, sorry to highjack the thread.
