I applied to Macys Credit card. I got this message...."We have received your application and will need to process it further. We will contact you with our decision withon 2 weeks.
I'm 99% sure it means denial. But just wanna check others experience?
The 2 week messages I've seen regarding this card, unfortunately have resulted in denials.
I figured that's their nice way to say no.
It's possible it's verification. Was there a phone number to call?
No just message. And that I will receive decisions ether online or by mail.

Macy's is issued by Amex? Yeah - thats the 7-10 day denial. You can and should call and recon depending on your scores.
Might be fruitless, especially in today's environment.... but worth a shot...

I say don't freak out OP. I received the 2 week later and they simply wanted me to read a code from a US MAIL LETTER I reecived to verify my identity. I was approved
