Macys ( Monthly ) CLI

So in December got my bump from $15,800 -> $21,200

Today ( 31 Days ) I called in to request my hopefully last cli  on my macys store card 

They asked how much of a increase I wanted,  I said a additional $3800 to make total of $25k

She put me on a brief hold and came back and said. Anything over $24k needs manangsr approval? Anyone heard of this before?

Possible she just miss understood me ? Cause I got no idea where there call center is, But with my accent they always have a very hard time understanding me..

Congrats! Never heard of manager approval, I didn't need it to get my $25,000.

I'm going to call back in around 10 am and ask to speak to mananger about it.

I don't need the $25k, but it's driving my OCD crazy with the limit being $21,200

Anything that would place your CL >$25K has been reported to require HP and senior UW or mgmt approval.  In some cases, they *may* require POI, but YEMV.

So, it sounds like you may be approaching the 'ceiling' given all things considered like your income and other factors.

Don't feel alone. I once asked for a $400 CL decrease to get to an even number so I could sleep at night...😬
