Macys cli

How often will they Hard pull? I recently got it to 11k from 7k and wanted to add a bit more. I don’t want an inquiry, so not willing to risk....?

no hard pulls on this card since it was approved, but every increase on my HD card was a hard pull. ☹️😔☹️😔☹️

Re: Macys cli

I have requested 6 times on my macys card, three approved three denied . I figured out i can get a cli exactly every 30 days, which lands on the 15th of each month for me. at 20,000 now. Never gotten a hard pull. My bloomingdales card has never gotten a hard pull either, which is backed by citi as well. i think its pretty solid that macys and bloomies are soft pulls for cli now.

Macys and bloomies card are from dsnb as well, stands for Department store national bank, while home depot is strictly backed by citi i believe. Might have something to do with the difference with the cli. Macys will counter if you ask to high. My first increase i asked for 5,000 and they countered with 3,000. For me i get one increase once a month. My last increase was an extra 5,000, from 15 to 20,000. Instantly approved, but i cant ask for more and get approved until 30 days later from my last approval date, which, like i said, happens to be the 15th of every month, even if i left money on the table. Hope this helps!!!Smiley Wink

Call the CSR and ask them for a SP CLI. My past three tries have been successful (inspite of the fact that it always was going for a hard pull when I tried online).

Just hit the luv button for the 1st time on my DW’s acct that she’s had for years...
Instant from $7.7 to $12K! Should have asked for more dangit!
Dunno yet if it’s HP or SP but verbiage online points toward a HP. Will see...

Congrats on the increase!

Just so you know, whenever I see this verbiage, I call CSR and it always has been a SP.

Great! Make sure you ask for whatever you like and make it a point that you want a SP for this. I have always been asking for only a $5k increase and they gave it all the time without countering.

Congrats!

Yep, this card grows very quick! I moved from 2k to 25k in 14 months!

Btw, did you mean your new CL is 13.7k or did you get an increase of 13.7k? I'd be over the moon if its the latter! Smiley Happy
