Marriott Rewards Chase Recon Line

So I app'd for this card about 4 days ago and got the 'we need to re-evaluate up to 30 days' so on message from Chase. Thought about calling the credit analyst line to maybe speed things up but I don't know if that's any use really or am I better off just waiting? Scores dipped a bit because of my recent app spree but I just put my PRG and 10k BCE under my belt– honestly not too sure what my odds are on this app.

Was the 30 day message from an email or the automated status line?  If the latter, that most likely represents an approval and calling now won't hurt and could speed the approval up.  If it was from an email, you need to call the status line and lett us know what it says.

called last night and recieved app is still in  review; thinking more of a denial maybe? Which in that case its cool I'd understand, but I'd also be at a crossroads to just go into garden with the 4 cards I have now, wait 6 months then try again for a higher end chase card, or to go and app for like a discover, and then hop in to garden with 5? I'd have no actual use for the discover besides doing CLIs and increasing overal TCL.

No reason to think at this point that it is a denial.  If the automated status line says 30 days that almost always leads to an approval,  Chase takes their time for a lot of applications.  Good luck.

I agree with Irish, every time I've got 2 weeks & 30 days I've been approved.
7-10 day was my most recent approval. But I always get the 30 day email even if automated says different.
