Marvel MC... not approved but not denied yet

Applied last night, received 7-10 day message. No baddies on TU, FICO 8 score 682, perfect payment history on revolving and installment. Called tonight, just in case it's a verification issue. CSR told me that my application was sent for further review? On pins & needles wondering which way this will go. A true test of patience lol

I bet you tomorrow afternoon you will get a phone call from synch bank and if right before it, If you haVE TU instant alerts, you will get one from synch bank and they will call and verify you applied and send you a text.

I had an inquiry alert for Marvel late today. Thought it was weird it didn't show until then.

I hope it comes out as an approval. Who wouldn't love to have a 3% card lol

I got the 7-10 day message and thought I was denied. They didn't pull TU until the next day. I called the automated Marvel customer service line and it matched my phone # to my account and gave me my SL 2k. I called Credit Solutions the next day and they bumped it to 6k.

AAoA is 2.4 years, oldest account 12 years, 30% utliization (because CLIs haven't reported yet)

I got the same response OP. I didn't think I was approved until I saw the account reporting on my TU CR with a $1,500 SL. My stats are similar to yours except utilization is around 10%. Also, I have 30 inquiries on TU. Here's hoping you get approved!

Didn't think to add inquiries to my stats lol

i have 16 in the last 24 months, 6 of which are from rate shopping for an auto loan last April.

Edited to add: Marvel makes it 17 inquiries.

866-243-0226 is the automated number I called. Right away it said we have matched your phone number with your account and then told me my avail credit. That's how I found out I was approved. I didn't feel like talking to a person to find out I was denied but it worked out.
