Marvel MasterCard went into pending status !

I applied for the Marvel MasterCard...and it was INSTANT 7-10 Day message !!.

Any experience ?

Normally 7-10 with those guys is a denial. It could also be verification.
Call them up and see.

On cli requests that is a denial. On apps it may be verification. Wait to get the letter to see

Its definitely a denial.  Isn't the Marvel MasterCard Synchrony's flagship card which means it would be the hardest one to get?

The OP was just recently denied by PenFed and HSBC for too many recent accounts so I don't see why Synchrony would be any different.

The lending is definitley stricter on the Marvel over some of the other Synch CCs.

I am surprised that the Marvel card is their flagship, the rewards are not the greatest.

Well, 3% is pretty good for dining. I know you see the i get 4% here or 5% here but id rather deal with Synchrony than Barclays lol. Plus its a cool looking MC so its not a store card.

Viper, i noticed you've been apping alot and are waiting on alot of decisions. Please be careful on big app sprees especially if you are getting denied. Good luck on this card hope its just verification. Happy Thanksgiving

Most likely a denial with the 7-10 business days. It pretty much means that they've already made their decision but it could take up to 10 business days for the denial letter to arrive at your place. 

Like it was said, careful with application sprees, specially when you've been denied recently.
