Ok. I'll wait till Monday.
I also have 3 inquiries on top of what I've already shared. Sorry... forgot to add that.
Here's hoping!
Just curious, is there something important about Monday? NFCU is open 24 hrs a day 7 days a week. My last app with them was on a Friday or Saturday night, around this time.
Navy gave me $3K to start on cashRewards with a 647 FICO, Chapter 7 in 2010, repo in 2012, and three new credit cards 6 months before getting their card with $18K income to boot and then they gave me the full $7500 I asked for at 91 days and 3 statements. I have seen people with lower scores get cards too. They are DTI sensitive more than score.
Look at my signature, the card and the actual signature. I was approved for that $8k flagship with a 597 TU FICO. I did have a secured for 2 years but that was approved with a low 400's FICO initially. History matters with NFCU but I believe you would likely be approved for an unsecured card. Who knows about the limit and that is also based in DTI and income apparently as well as NFCU history, as much or more than your FICO's (Likely TU FICO 09). Once in, you are golden.
was approved with a 540 FICO score about 5 years ago....got a $5000 SL. I have never been late, always pay more than minimums and my limit has been stuck at $5000.
I'd give them a call and go for it. I was planning on getting the secured card when the rep said try for the unsecured if denied we'll use that pull to open up the secured card. I have 20k in defaulted student loans currently 2 months into rehab, 2 CO cc & secured discover it reporting for 1 month. FICO 520-530 at the time and I was approved for the cash rewards SL 3500. They gave me an internal score of 260 on their scale
