No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
I have seen on the CC Approvals forum that people apply for 5 or 6 cards at the same time. Is this a good idea?
I find 2-3 aplications in a day is about right, Apply for the card you want the most first, don't try to out think lenders about what report they pull, they will supprise you by double and tripple pulling your reports when you don't expect it. All else being equal then apply for cards that are the hardest to get.
Note it may be fun to see approval messages, and you will want to continue, but there are worse things than a denial, getting a $200 CL store card when you are solidly in primeville, or gettng a Prime card with a $500 or a $1000 CL, that will take forever to grow. Perhaps it never will. Just tell yourself the other cards will still be there and with higher starting CL's if you garden a few months.
Repeat this process ever 5-6 months perferably a year.

It depends on your personal goals and temperament. I am conservative when it comes to credit so I wouldn't apply for multiple cards at once. In my decision making, I use a want vs need appraoch. Good luck!!!
