the rep said mid-late summer I should be able to apply again

I second that, they are not the best when it comes to relaible info. I could probably get the same answer from my dog.

OP, at this point, there are no pans on resucitating the BMO/Diners CC applications - according to some insider sources from BMO.  Effectively, this could change in the future but given what occurred last year, it's likely a business decision may have forced them to rethink any relaunch plans.
