My Quest to Obtain the JP Morgan Reserve [UPDATE PG.2]

Right now this beautiful card is my holy grail and the 100K UR point bonus after $4K/3MO spend is irreistable.

I found the Reward Boss site which appears to show him prevailing in his quest. Unfortunately too many people took advtange of this method and they shut down the fax number that is used to submit apps.

I've spent the day calling Chase Private Client banks, Executive Offices, Analysts & any other JPM/Chase related backdoor number to no avail. They all state that the fax number was being abused by people with sub-600 FICOs (IM LOOKING AT YOU MYFICO'ERS) trying to get approved with no prior JPM//Chase relationship. They all told me you need a minimum $250K invested in their wealth management division to even have a slight chance. Preferably you need about $10M in cash/assetts under JPM management. Obviously that's not a reality for my siutaiton.

HOWEVER my last call of the evening was a hail Mary to my direct contact at the Chase EO, a lovely lady who I've mentioned here before is a fellow myFICO'er. She was responsible for getting me a $15,000 CLI on my Freedom back when I was scoring 690-700. Anyways I explained to her the siutation and she put me on hold. When she came back she provided me with the private fax number that Chase Private bankers use to submit these Palladium/Reserve apps.

I faxed over the app a few minutes ao and I should get a response by tomorrow according to her.

I will update this regardless of what happens. Before you ask: NO I will not share the fax number UNTIL my app is approved so don't ask. Once the app is approved I willl share the fax number but NOT the contact at the EO as she doesn't want to lose her job.

FWIW my vitals are as follows: TU 801, EX 790, EQ 782. Stated income $179,000. One inquiry and no new accounts in past 18-months.

Just look at this beautiful, elegant design... it weighs over twice that of the CSP/CSR.

Wow, who in their right mind would attempt to get this card with a sub 600 fico? That would be like someone with a 800 fico apping for a credit one! LolSmiley Wink

Re: My Quest to Obtain the JP Morgan Reserve Card [UPDATES INCOMING]

What does this card offer that CSR doesn't? A United Club membership (or at least access) I think, but what else?

If you have 6 or 7 figures in securities, chasing brokerage promotions is more lucrative.

*For example, Fidelity gives 50k miles on Delta, United, or AA for a mere (comparatively speaking) $100k transfer of assets.

Personal spend: Amex Gold, Amex Schwab Plat., BofA PR+CCR(x2), Costco
Business use: Amex Bus. Plat., BBP, Lowes Amex AU, CFU AU
Perks: Delta Plat., United Explorer, IHG49, Hyatt, "Old SPG"
Mostly SD: Freedom Flex, Freedom, Arrival
Upgrade/Downgrade games: ED, BCE
SUB chasing: AA Platinum Select

Nothing  It's purely an ego driven card.  As for the weight of the card, it's the same as the Ritz card afaik
