My last app i promise to garden after

Ok weighing my options here.

I want to do another app and this will be my last app. I want that push over 100k in credit. I totalled everything tonight and i'm sitting at 87k in revolving credit.

We shop alot at samsclub and i'm thinking of doing the sams club MC with the 5% gas and the 3% dining out.

It appears to be backed by sych bank. They have by far have given me the best SL at 30k for lowes with a joint account

Sams offers a joint account too. My wife current TU score is 764 mine mid 600's. I dont think it will be an issue getting one but is synchrony bank as genourous with the sams MC as it is with the lowes? or  is there an option to do the sams store and the MC?

I see some have got the sams card with the sams MC and the store card having the bigger limit of the 2......

Whats everyone think?

1. You won't be approved for the MC with your scores, so you will definitely need to app it with your wife.

2. The store card will generally have the bigger limit because the risk is less to the lender.

3. Plenty of people get the MC with sub-$1k limits. A quick call to Credit Solutions will help get the limit increased to something a little more usable.

What is your AAoA? If its like 6 months, just STOP and go into the garden. No reason to push your CLs past $100k at the cost of lowering your already low scores. Unless you have like 80% utilization and desperately need to lower it.

Plenty of options for groceries and gas. Or just go with a flat 2% card.

And the whole, not needing credit for several years, remember, that your homeowners, renters, car insurance are influenced by the same scores.

Good luck!

Im in michigan everything affects those LOL. i moved from one city paid 1200 a year for full coverage for my truck. The city I moved to now the same insurance company 5000 year. So i switched to allstate and pay 221 a year full coverage for 3 vehicles. The 5000 a year for AAA was for just my truck. if i move two blocks away, which is another city my AAA insurance would have not changed. They **bleep** us here. I know people in detroit whos homewoners range from 4500-7000 yr, take that same house to the burbs and its 600-900yr....Id love nothing more than to pack my crap and move outta here. everything is just bad here except my job...but hell i was even robbed twice at gun point while doing that..lmao

My father in law moved to SC and his car insurance dropped by 3/4 and they have a caddy and a porche.....

we hoping in 4 years to set aside at the very least 250k, id love it to be more like 350K  to put down on a new house and hopefully have CS in the 800's altho not needed but having lenders as options is always nice.

I know the sams does 5% on gas. I'm spending 400-500 a month for work. So we're ranging  between 700-1000 month just in gas al together and i live right next to a sams club. just figured it was a win..maybe not lol

Re: My last app i promise to garden after

So I decided to scrap the whole getting another card idea and have my last HP used to get my only secured card unsecured from my CU.
I know they pull experian and experian is my best score @ 658 which to them is B credit.
It looks like it's gonna be a nightmare getting it done.
It's a 1000 secured. My starting score with them was a 483.
She pulls my credit and sees I have a good enough score, she's actually in shock at how much it has improved in 6 months.
She says she has an issue with the number of accounts I have open now and that many accounts open is more than what they feel is nessesary.
I let her know that the cards I got are not only to rebuild my credit but I can do more with those cards than theirs.
Being a secured card I cannot set up any type of auto payment. I.E monthly gym membership etc.
she asked if I still used the card and I told her no I didn't see a benefit now being so restricted with the card not even able to use a card reader at the gas station.
She has to now talk to the branch manager.
She has verification that I make 130k+ a year and I did let her know that most of the cards I have are small limits and as she can see the uti on all cards is always less than 9% and typically only carry a 1-2% uti.
They do not report if I don't use the card either.
It's such a PITA to even use it. It constantly gets rejected. I couldn't even put my CCT subscription or myfico subscription on it.
