They have clamped down quite a bit now.

I'm sorry this happened to you.  Did they ask you questions about where you lived in the past, etc?  I wouldn't take it as a "threat" from them.  

 

Everytime I tell my brother-in-law about their security department with apps he laughs.  lol

I am sooo not impressed with this cu. Slow and over the top as far as security. Want DL, SS card and utilty and then claimed can read SS card. Faxed it to myself very legible and rescanable.

Makes me love penfed even more!!!

I applied for a lowely savings account with them, and they asked for a copy of my license, social security card, a recent utility bill, and two most recent pay stubs... ALL NOTARIZED, or they wouldn't open the account.

I don't have time for that kind of nonsense.

I actually hate the customer service. Rude unhelpful. Need to write their board. Really the worse 5 bucks ive spent!
