Y'all think u hate NASA, wait for this one. After having my savings, checking with direct deposit from my employer and credit card account with them for over two years then suddenly they said my accounts was fraud and needed me to verify my identity and reaffirm the accounts. Mind you I've been with them for a while now not even considering I had to send identity documents before I even got approved for membership in the first place. These guys restricted my accounts out of the blue and getting it sorted out was the worst 3weeks of my life! When dealing with their security department they don't accept faxes so every document requested must be sent by mail at least in my experience. The only reason I tolerated their BS is because I get my paycheck 3days before pay date otherwise I woulda dropped them. They really are that horrible!

Are you freakin kidding me? After having the accounts over two years? That is beyond ridiculous! I would be absolutely LIVID! You handled it much better than I would have. I would have closed every account I had with them on the spot! Unbelievable!!!

Well don't you guys feel like lonesome george on that.

I didn't post about it and likely won't until i cool off but of the blue a few weeks ago those jerks closed my 10K card which was approved back in Nov.

I had been using it and PIF for awhile but those dogs waited until i used a first BT offer of that low apr for the life of the transfer 7.9% and been making money monthly off me with that interest but closed the darn thing while i had a 25% balance on it.

Won't be ever recommending that outfit to anyone after pulling that stunt.

Magic I am so sorry to hear they closed your card. You are not alone. Apparently they went on a closing spree because supposedly their underwriting criteria was off last year. They made adjustment and then closed all cards outside those stricter guidelines. I have never ever seen a place like this! After being denied twice for "too much available credit", they will never get another hp out of me!

Don't be sorry. I ripped them a good one (for all the good it will do) for being so incompetent and directed their attention to a researched ratings site of the top 50 CU's Rankings by Financial Performance ending Dec. 2015 courtesy S&P Global Market Intelligence. Which as a FACT clearly defines an impressive drop of 22 to last place (or number 50) in those ratings among the accompanying pertinent details

They asked me to call them to discuss it and i said no further review is neccessary, "you guys already made a decision and that's that" as far as i'm concerned they are not a reliable CU at all.

I for one have not had any issues with NASA or Penfed for that matter. Everything was instant.

I had issues with DCU approving membership tho(Infact I was never approved due to indentity verification)
