NASA LOC Denied

Yeah sadly it showed up today. I'm sure they would have turned down for other reasons but main reason cited was unable to verify info and unable to verify identity. I mean come on I've been a member for a year and have a small toy limit card with them. I may voice my unhappiness with them over this but I don't it will go anywhere. Whenever get a CLI on my Kohl's card my Cash Rewards Visa with them will be my smallest limit card.

Have you called them? I might consider calling them, just to question why they would give me a credit card in the first place. I mean, if they truly can't verify my identity for a LOC, it's kinda scary that they would issue a CC in my name prior to that. Is the risk level really that different for them? Does their fraud department go:

"Looks like this John Doe wants a CC"
"Okay, go ahead."
"Looks like John Doe wants a LOC, now"
"Hold your horses there, now! I dunno about that. How do we know this is REALLY John Doe? I don't really care about CC fraud, but a LOC? Sketchy. Deny that app."

If I were you, I would it take it further to complaint about the nonsense. You already have a card with them to this excuse if out of context !!!

Yeah exactly which I why I'm a bit ticked off. I've held the card for 12 months now and have a couple k in deposit accounts with them.
