When I received my denial for Nasa CC, they are/were using EX FICO 3. My score was low 700's. They like a strong, clean profile from what I have read.
Ok, I only tried it since I heard they were soft pulls. I'll try again once profile is stronger

NASA requres a minimum of 24 months of positive credit history on three or more revolving accounts post bankruptcy. The next app will be an HP. Don't waste it.
CH-7 -- thanks for posting this. I have been scouring MyFico trying to figure out what it takes to make NASA happy. I was instantly accepted into CU 6 months ago, but declined as well on CC. Had 756 Experian score. Don't have a bk, but did not have three accounts with 24 months of history at the time. I'll be reapplying at the end of this year.
According to CH7, that might not be a good idea especially for the OP since that would mean a decline with a HP.

Congrats!! Wait another 6-12 months and then apply for cc if profile gets better!
I didnt know about the bankruptcy. From what I have read and from what people on here have told me, Nasa is a beast. I'd probably just move on for a while if I had a nk reporting and try to get in with a local credit union if you could?
I was only trying since it was a SP, no harm no foul
**UPDATE** For anybody that's interested I was denied for too many inquiries in the last 12 months (4) and the length of time accounts have been established. Score was 653 Experian

That's just the reasons they listed. It's a guarantee that the fresh BK was a huge factor.

That could be it too that my accounts since the bankruptcy are only 6 months old
