Good Morning All-

I am new here and I am currently assisting my sister on her credit journey. She applied for a Victoria's Secret card via SCT, and she got the preapproval message. However, upon submission of her information, she got the "COMENITY 2 WEEK MESSAGE." When she called, they assured her she was more than likely approved, but I'd like to know a little more about the 2 week message. I've seen the threads regarding the 7-10 day message, but never the 2 week message. Anyone have any experiences they would like to share regarding Comenity and their 2 week message that could help? Thanks in advance!

If she was pre-approved via SCT, then your sister would need to wait for the letter to confirm the next steps. Unfortunately, the reps will not be able to do much at this point until she receives the notice through the mail. It's likely further verification is required.

That's fine. The only reason I started the new post is because I didn't see many posts regarding their 2 week message status. The few I've seen, to my knowledge, didn't complete the post to let us know if they were approved or denied.

****UPDATE****

Just to recap, my sister is starting her credit journey. She applied for Victoria’s Secret via the SCT, and got the preapproval message. Once she completed the app, it stated that she had to wait for 2 WEEKS to receive a letter. 

She received the letter yesterday and called the number on the back. She stated that the rep asked for her reference number, then put her on hold. She asked her 3 questions-Zodiac sign, how old would she be in 5 years, and what county was her address located in. After another brief hold, she came back and congratulated her on her approval for $1000 for the VS card. Nevertheless, she is excited and happy. I just wanted to follow up and let you guys know that the 2 week message can apparently mean the came thing with Comenity as the 7-10 day message.
