So I passed my 91/3 with NFCU and applied for a cli on my more rewards, got the 24 hr notice, well fast forward 5 days and I get a letter in the mail that says my navy federal credit card account is too new, I specifically set a reminder on my phone when my 91/3 would be and I added 3 days to it to be sure it had passed, I also applied for new card but got the same 24 hr review and letter that said my NFCU credit card account is too new so I dunno if they changed their time when you can get a cli or new card or what

Somehow based on the Denial verbiage "navy federal credit card account is too new"
You may have inadvertently applied to soon. It will not hurt you at all. Call a NFCU rep and see
when true your 91 days are? , also make 100% sure thart "3" statements have cut.
You can be at 91 days, and if "3" statements have not cut, you will be be denied.
I have double checked and I have January statement, February statement and March statement and now I just noticed April statement has cut today! So scratch the 10 days out I'm a little behind......lol, so now we are 4 statements and no cli

Then I would call NFCU.
And I've kept my balance at 1 to 2 % and paid in full always
On phone with them now
got to wait a few more days according to rep, I told her my 4 th statement just cut, well low and behold my January statement was not a full billing statement, so my first full statement was February and so may 1st is when I can apply and should be approved according to her, she said my accounts all reflect great history with navy federal, so that gives me hope for a cli and a new card

@Anonymous
how many days in billing cycle did it show in your first statement, if I may ask?
