My wife wants to take advantage of the NFCU Platinum BT offer for 0% they have going right now. She currently has a Cash Rewards card with a CL of $18000 that was opened last November. She applied for the Platinum card and was given a CL of $1500. The balance transfer that she has is about $12000.00.
Any help would be appreciated.

I iwas afraid you were going to say that. She doesn't want another HP so she may end up doing the balance transfer anyways to her other card just to get it over with.

One thing I would do for sure is I would call them and explain what you want to do they might surprise you 
You wouldn't know until you try maybe she could see if they move part of her other card limit over to the new card?

I would just lay out your situation as truthfully and sincere as you can . Explain to them you want to really utilize Navy and hopefully they can help you out. Good suggestion, Joe

Took everyone's advice and sent a message. They responded with an increase to $6300. Not quite the amount but halfway there. Very thankful so she'll have to split half over two cards but st least half is 0% interest for 12 months.
Correction - She was given $6500 from the initial $1000 to start. Everyone here is awesome!
