I received the review message on Friday, which stated it would take one day for decision. Now it's early Tuesday morning and still no response. I called in and was told it's still under review and looks like no more documentation is being requested, and that it's at least good that I didn't get a instant denial.
Does this sound like a denial? I see so many people say they have gotten instant approvals. Thanks
I've never received an instant approval from NavyFed other than from CLI's. I've had two credit cards and two lines of credit (applied for membership, closed the membership, and then re-applied and was accepted again). My most recent app was Friday for the Platinum, which I received the 24 hour message, went to bed (I work nights) and when I woke up 2-3 hours later I had a message stating I was approved for both (10,000 and 1,500 lines respectively).
Did you apply for the AMEX? I've heard those applications are taking a bit more time, but can't really see why if they're just combing through everyone's applications in the order received. I would also imagine the underwriters aren't there on the weekends, as my account did not show up until the morning my card came (yesterday afer being approved Friday morning). You'll just have to keep living your life, and before you know it, the decision will come. Keep your mind off of it and on other tasks to make the situation go by faster.

Thanks for the response! I applied for the Platinum card. Definitely going to try to keep my mind off of it now.
Sure, and when you go to check your loan status, please make sure to check the loan status inbox and not the regular inbox at the top of the screen in your online banking.
If you go to the "account services tab" and then click on it, the next page should have options for all of the different accounts. Under "credit cards management" there should be a link that says, "check status of pending credit card application." Click on that and it should give you the most up to date information, which is also where you'll find your interest rate and credit limit if you're approved.
