Hey all,
Saw in another post someone spotted NFCU doing an AR on 9/1. I pulled my Equifax and saw a SP for NFCU AR on 9/1. I log into NFCU, type in my info for the CLI on my Flagship and at first get the condition exists message. I try again and get the sad panda bear 3-5 day message. That's two ARs in a row I got the 3-5 day message. I quickly sent NFCU a Secure Message asking them to withdraw the CLI request, and I made sure Equifax was left out in the cold. For some reason, EXP and TU didn't want to be left in the cold tonight, but I'm 99.99% sure NFCU would only try EQ for a CLI. Hopefully, the SM gets there before they try the manual review and the $10 to send Equifax to Siberia was all for naught.
Anyway, could I be at my max exposure with NFCU? DW and I have a joint cashRewards card @ 25k, I have a LOC @ 15k, and my Flagship @ 14k. No other exposure with NFCU no auto loans, no mortgages, no student loans (they won't consolidate my private student loans since I defaulted in the past with someone else), etc.
Right now my income is only my VA benefits, I'm waiting for a job offer in the very near future. Between my VA Disability and my VA stipend for grad school, my annual benefits with the VA are just north of $50,000 and that's what I listed for income on the CLI request.
Thoughts?

Random thoughts, do you bank through them - checking, savings? Thoughts of consumer preference.
I can see the idea of max exposure. *nods slowly* Third times a charm brother.

I do bank solely through them, and heavily use and PIF my Flagship card. We are carrying a $3,000 balance on our cashRewards card (we got a 0% interest for 12 months back in April), but I've been paying 4-5x the minimum payment. We also have a decent chunk of change in savings...

@Anonymous no expert but I think you may be at your max with NFCU without a manual review of some type. Cash rewards @ 12.5 per person, 15K loc and 14K flagship = $41.5K in open credit. I thought I saw somewhere the limit per individual was $40K of unsecured credit before manual approvals were needed. Income vs open credit could be part of the reason as well?
Like I said, im no expert, and could be totally wrong...
