To piggyback another question here, my undrstanding is that any CLI over $25,000 is going to go to manual review anyway, right?  So I should never expect a SP CLI on my $24k SL and when I go for a CLI, I should just immediately ask for the full $80k with a loan officer?

Navy goes up to 80k? 😮

In theory the computer could SP you to $25k...but yes, if you ask for more it's going to straight to a LO anyway

Re: NFCU CLI request. How many times is too many?

I applied for membership in December 2016 when I my account was opened I applied for a platinum card and was approved for $2700. My TU was 622 then in February 2017 after 90 days and 3 statements I requested a CLI and it went to review and was later denied. I got a HP on my EQ which was 610 After it went to review I decided to apply for a cashrewards card and was immediately approved for $5200 visa sig and my TU was now a 630. My question is when do I try again for a CLI on my Platinum card?

Re: NFCU CLI request. How many times is too many?

TU is 638 and EQ is 612 which is what they pull for the CLI and I assume that is the reason why the CLI was denied.

Re: NFCU CLI request. How many times is too many?

Piggy backing off of this, I'm curious as to requesting another cli after the AR hits next month. I just recieved my first one a few days ago at the 4 month mark. Hit the Luv button and requested the max, went from 1700 to 8000 instantly, sp. My question is, should I hit it again next month? Or wait 6 months before I try again,

Just my two cents. I would wait and use the card well.

Navy is a lot like Capital One, who also has this quirk - as soon as you actually get an increase, you're auto-declined for any further increases for 180 days from that increase.
