Hi All!
Has anyone recently gotten a CLI on your NFCU CC? Is it still best to request a CLI via the app to avoid a HP?
Thanks in advance for your feedback.
The master thread shows that they are still handing out CLIs with the $4K cap on increases still in effect.
And yes it is still best to request a CLI online in order to ensure there isn't a HP.

Early this year they gave me an increase on my Flagship and I didn't even ask for it.
I received the 4K max last week.
Yes, use the website or mobile app for best chance of SP.
Good luck if you request!

Hi All,
I'm close to 6 months since my last CLI on my NFCU Cash Rewards card. It's currently at $22,000. I thought I recall reading that once you request pass a certain CL amount, NFCU will request tax documents, etc. Although I can show documents to support my income, I want to avoid needing to send it tax returns for privacy issues, etc.
At what point do they typically start requesting more documentation to approve your CLIs? I'm thinking about asking for an $8,000 CLI, making the total CL $30,000. My Platinum card is $25,000.
Thanks!
My Visa card with them has a 50K limit and I have the 15K checking LOC. They have never asked for any proof of income. I think with most credit unions it's just a matter of "it depends." Maybe it's score based or something else, but they do not seem to be consistent even within the same company in terms of POI.
