Hi. Same thing happened to me. But I think it's down to the minute and I'll tell u why. When I first got approved for my first navy card i counted the day til 91 and 3 statements .well when the day came i applied for cli .denied! When I tried new card denied also .I tried about 5pm again same results .I was disappointed to say the least. Well I went to bed that night and reme mbered i had applied originally after I had went to bed .I said wth tried a 3rd time that day for both .bam 1k to 3.5 k and a new card for 2k . So I believe it's down to the minute but that's just me.
Isn't there an AR coming up? Why not wait until after that happens which is only another 7 days or so. DW has me waiting for next week before I hit the luv button. She waited until her AR, 3rd statement and I think it was 112 days. She went from 1.4k > 4k and approved for a 2nd card for 20k the same evening.
How funny -- I had to scroll to the bottom of this post to make sure I hadn't written it myself. Same story. Same CL. Same prob.
I wasn't the ideal credit candidate and so when I applied to Navy and got 4200 I thought someone somewhere had messed up.
And I just got a CLI on both my Amex and my Discover.
Are we credit twins?

So I hit my 91 day with my NFCU Cash Rewards. Go to ask for the CLI, nope. So, from what I've read from others, I app for a Go Rewards card, instant decline (does not meet lending criteria message).
Also had zero luck with a CLOC.
When I first joined, scores were mid to high 500s with 80% utl over all credit cards. The still approved me for $4200 SL on my Cash Rewards. Now, I'm at 6% utl over all credit cards and scores are now mid 600s. In addition, I opened a checking account with them AND put $5k in a savings account. Figured I'd show them love, since they took a chance.
I've pif every month, with heavy use, up to $3k, but paid off before statement cut.
For the life of me, I can't figure out why no love from Navy. Income is $121k, no recent baddies, and scores are much higher.
I just got my first cli with Discover, and Amex. So who knows.
Asked for a recon. We'll see what happens.
I do know it may be sock drawer time for the NFCU card if they shoot the recon down. Also may just pull my $5k in savings, as it certainly doesn't seem appreciated.
Sock drawer them only after 90 days???
You should consider yourself very lucky getiing approved with the scores and utilization that you had when you did.
You might not have gotten an approval from Credit One with that profile.
90 days and 3 statements may work for some but not all.
I know Navy is very generous with most but 90 days is just a blip in the credit world.
You can't expect them to give you everything after 90 days especially if your history is flawed.
I started in Juky 2016 with a $2,000 limit card. Today my card is $15k and I also have a $15k CLOC.
Remember credit building ia a marathon not a race.
PATIENCE ALWAYS WINS!
And that's where the twins part ways. I can't get Amex or Discover to look twice at me. Capital One and NFCU, though, they can't get enough of me. I just got upgraded to QS on both my lines over there and starting in on the Sparks.
