Hi all: I just want to check for those who may know....
I was already approved for NaVCheck for the full $15K, but I was immediately declined for Go Cash and Recon was also a no go
Anyway, I really want an NFCU card , when is the best time to re-apply? or can I apply for the Go Rewards since I was denied on Go cards now? your thoughts and advise are greatly appreciated!

Go rewards, go cash and go cards? A bit of confusion going on here, there is only one card with GO in the name and that's simply Go Rewards. You applied for Cash rewards? I'll assume so, if so you'd be declined for a go rewards as well since they have the same UW criteria. I'd apply again no sooner than 30 days but if your profile doesn't improve its probably a futile endeavor. Work on whatever the reason for denial was and reapply when that reason improves.
I only applied for the cash Rewards sorry for the confusions!
My letter states "DELINQUENT PAST OR PRESENT CREDIT OBLIGATIONS WITH OTHERS. (PRIMARY)" - so I do have 2 student loans on my rehab 1 is 6.5 years old going to fall off on 4/17 and another one that's 3 years old from 6/2013. I also have 3 Medical Collections 2 are 6.5 years old coming off on 3/17 and 1 is from 2014. All 3 are paid in full and has been sent for dispute to be removed...
My TU was 703 and my score with them is 338 out of 450. I had seen worst than my profile... like my friend who has 610 TU and 5 collections and 4 student loans and 1 charge off... she got $13K credit limit.... I also make 3x she does., my only difference my TU has 30 inquiries she has 22.

Well you've got me stumped on what's causing them to decline you. Your scores are obviously well above approval threshold and your baddies are not all that bad, especially when you compare your situation to your friends, I do not think the inquiries though are a problem as navy doesn't really seem inquiry sensitive. I know I was declined for my first navy app and was approved the second time around a few months later when a old co and collection came off, perhaps wait and app when some of your baddies fall off. Best of luck when you reapply sorry for your denial.
Well I just used my CLOC to pay off all my credit cards 2 weeks ago, which I am paying anyway, but I thought just go ahead just to use the new $15K PLOC - totaled of $8,400 and tomorrow my first direct deposit will hit their bank (luckily same time I get my quarter bonus). Then use it all to pay off that LOC balance. Hopefully, with the big drop I can show that I mean business

My wife also had a 703 TU Fico 8 (712 TU Fico 04), declined for Cash Rewards CC - no baddies other than has a Discharged Ch 13 (1 year old) on record -- 5 positive tradelines with CL's of 5-10K, inquiries were 4 -- probably no reason to apply for a CLOC; her income is 63K per year ; go figure - haven't got the denial letter yet
