NFCU Message from Platinum CC Application

Good Morning - Been a member with NFCU for over a year and currently have the Cash Rewards Signature and Overdraft PLOC. I applied for a second card today, Platinum and I received this message

Your application has been accepted and is currently being reviewed.
The processing time for a credit card application is 24 hours unless additional information is needed.

Anyone have any experience with getting this?

From my experience I applied for the Cash Rewards after a rep called me to welcome me to NFCU after applying for membership. She said I was pre-approved for that card so I went ahead with the app but it went into pending. Not even an hour later I got a text message saying I was approved. Next morning found out my SL was $15,300. But I have also applied for the Platinum and gotten that message only to find out the next day that my app was declined.

I received the text too saying my application has been submitted and is being reviewed.

Now with NFCU, can you use the same day credit pull for say a CLI on my other card?

I got my membership and applied for a Flagship the same day.. Went into pending and I got a text a few hours later, 13.3k approval. Just means a UW will look at it

I had a similar situation to you.  Account open little over a year with a Cash Rewards card with a 14k limit and a CLOC with a 15k limit.  

Put in app for Go rewards.  Went into review but got congratulations message next day.  

Approved for 1500 cl.

Not sure if I'm correct but I think it'll be a different pull if you don't get an instant decision for a CLI. They seem to be a pull happy lender.

There may be a SP CLI sitting in the bullpen due to your last AR ( if your CL isn't already above 25k)

although the 2nd CC app will always be a manual HP the CLI from the normal every other month AR

may just be sitting there for the taking, if the CLI request is made online and comes back instantly yes or an instant counter

it's a SP if not it's a Manual review

(Btw many times the CRA will merge same day HP's on their own)
