NFCU Question

Hey ficofam ! 

 

Quick question... 

 

In about a week i will be applying for the CashRewards and im wondering if only having a savings account im eligible? Everyone i see gets a savings & checkings when they join etc.

Yes, your (share) savings account alone makes you eligible to apply for the credit card. Plenty here have only the share account and are approved for the card and other lending products.

I have a checking and a savings account; each have $10 in them.

Rebuild started in 2014  -  $100k unsecured credit in 2017  -  $500k unsecured credit in 2024.

DON'T WORK FOR CREDIT CARDS ... MAKE CREDIT CARDS WORK FOR YOU!

I can confirm that a NFCU checking account is not a requirement for their credit cards.

Also, if you have direct deposit setup, the cashback goes from 1.5% to 1.75%. FYI!
