NFCU application with recent lates

Im trying to help my sister get a card from navy but she has two recent lates on her report (June) she has a total of 4 lates but this was from her student loans . What are her chances of approval?

no other negative accounts. 30% util, she has low limit cards, fico is prolly 580-600 coz of the recent lates. 2 years AAOA

NFCU is full of surprises! My guess is this could go either way really.. It sounds like she may have a thin profile? It's just one HP anyway, take a shot and have her go secured if needed.

Yea, I told her the same thing.. she filed bk 13 years ago and she didnt start rebuilding 2 years ago... she doesnt have any inquiries on her TU in one year... i told her the  same exact thing.... it's just one pull! lol, she said she might wait it out in 6 months and apply...

I applied with several recent lates ...4 to be exact and got a 7500 SL

She finally applied for the platinum because I mentioned the 0% for 12 months balance transfer .. she was approved for $4500! She was actually shocked ... lol .. I told her navy is very unpredictable.. thanks everyone!

Oh wow that's awesome. Congrats to her. I'm learning that navy is in another category of its own,especially for those rebuilding.
