NFCU product change question

Hello FICO forums,

I currently have the max 3 credit cards allowable. The More rewards, cash rewards and the visa signature Go rewards. I've just gotten a CLI on the all 3, albeit they were pretty small. The visa sig and the cash rewards were a little more than 2 months ago and were $500 increases and the more rewards was a $2000 increase from a $1000 SL which actually wasn't to bad. However my question is, if I do a product change for one of them, would that restart the CLI clock? Or should I close one of them since I have 3 rewards cards and re-apply for another one?

No it does not restart the clock. I did a product change back in December and recently received a CLI a week ago. Good luck on the change!!

I agree. I got a CLI on the Go Rewards in June, did a PC to the More Rewards in October, then got a healthy CLI in December...so the clock definitely doesn't restart with a PC.
