And the fact that I see all of you guys getting CLI's when Navy does an A/R is not helping me!
I got my cashrewards card in August with a $500 limit. I have ran more than $4000 through it and everymonth PIF except one month left a $100 balance on it. I read so much on here about treating them well will show me big limits. Well I thought I was doing just that but I was just denied again. I see almost everyone get clis after 2 months. So, I tried in October, denied... I was approved a second card at $1700 SL at that time though... I have run about $2500 through that new card and have $1000 balance from the holidays which will paid off by March statement. I tried for another CLI in December, denied... of course Ive been reading that they just did an A/R on 12/29 so I just tried again because the statement just cut and I had a $9 dollar credit, over paid my bill and 3-5 message.
Why are they bogarting the CLI man!!!???? Any thoughts?
My guess as to why they are denying you is your current scores and most importantly your BK that is less than a year old.
What is the reason they're providing you for the denials? Like others have mentioned...I'd guess score and BK?
Time and patience pays.
I was also denied for a CLOC and CLI recently. They stated it was too soon after my BK7. I think with patience we will be rewarded well...Hang tight !
The reason for the 1st CLI decline in October, 2 statements in, cited the BK. The decline in December stated too many obligations. Im not sure what this one is going to say.
I guess I just have to be more patient. I need to stop reading about everyone else and their CLI's with NFCU.
I will wait til Spring when the other balance gets paid down and reports amd see what happens then.
Thank you for the responses everyone!
